Info to share with your contractor with the flare leak problems…. Hope this helps… If done right there should be no leak problems….
1. Use a Torque wrench…. A lot of guys don’t use a torque wrench…. They all think they know exact amount to tighten… We have done training classes with Torque Wrenches and had class participants torque with & without a wrench - 100% of participants did not torque to correct tightness with out a Torque Wrench… 100% were wrong!!!!
